Dr. Lorne Swetlikoff,  BSc., ND, is a licenced naturopathic physician (Bastyr University of Naturopathic Medicine in Seattle) with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Cell and Development Biology from UBC. He gained extensive experience in patient care and naturopathic medicine at his clinics in Vancouver and Castlegar. His focus is on family health care, integrative cancer care, and generative and anti-aging medicine.

Dr. Swetlikoff values continuous education in the field of medicine and holds many special certifications in alternative health treatments such as anti-aging therapy, chelation therapy, neural therapy, orthomolecular therapy, ozone therapy and many other diploma and certificate programs in diagnosis and treatment technologies. Dr. Swetlikoff is an active professionl member with leading professional medical organizations including ACAM, A4M, Institute of Functional Medicine, and the Occidental Institute.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Swetlikoff has served as the President of the College of Naturopathic Physicians of British Columbia. Under the leadership of Dr. Swetlikoff, the College was able to work with the provincial government by multi-health care party negotiations to achieve groundbreaking changes in the naturopathic medical scope of practice. One change that resulted from these negotiations was that naturopathic physicians in BC can now write prescriptions for conventional drugs and natural substances requiring a prescription.

Industry officials and peers have acknowledged Dr. Swetlikoff as a leader in the field of naturopathic medicine. He has written for various publications including CBC Health Online, and is a respected lecturer and speaker on alternative health care in Canada.
